My sister said that multiple fourth graders in her school have cell phones or are getting cell phones on Christmas and I’m like WTF? I got mine in 6th grade and honestly, I feel like it was perfect. In middle school I finally had the need for a cell phone since I stayed after school and such but keep in mind that I didn’t have texting until after. These little fucking fourth graders with their texting are going to raped. There is no way you can know the consequences that there can be from texting at such a young age (especially when even some teenagers don’t understand it either). If parents feel the need for their kids to have cell phones for safety then fine but if your little kid harassed you into getting them a phone then that’s just stupid and texting is absolutely unneccesary.
Snyder is leaving after this quarter and it just makes the homework I’m supposed to be doing now that more meaningless.
This freshman asked me if I liked this other freshman today and I replied “he’s a freshman,” and the girl wouldnt realize that that meant “no”. Lol

We were talking about Truman Capote and Ms Wingard described him as “flamboyant” which caused everyone to ask if he was gay.
Wingard replied something like: “Yes, he was gay. He was very flamboyant with his little suit and his cigar. Everyone must have loved to be around him because he was so happy… If you mean gay as in his preferences, I’m not going to speculate.”
And it was the greatest. Ms Wingard is great :)
